Discover the hidden treasures of Piton de la Fournaise by exploring the lava tunnels....

Meet at Saint-Philipe for the tunnel crossing under the 2004 Grand Brule lava flow 
(1.2km long, involving three and a half hours underground) led by a guide qualified in 
caving.  The spectacle that awaits you will teach you about how a volcano is made 
and the landscape outside will take on a new meaning.

After the tour of the tunnel, continue South and discover the beauty of the island.
